Summary Billing is a no-cost program that can consolidate multiple electric bills. Any commercial customer with 10 or more accounts under the same name can consolidate those accounts into one monthly statement. In addition, you will receive detailed billing for each account. All accounts must be paid in full prior to the first Summary Billing.
If you are a current participant, it’s easy to add or delete one or more accounts from your Summary Bill.
Tampa Electric wants to help business customers plan their monthly budget by spreading the cost of electricity over the entire year. Use the online form to sign up for the Levelized Payment Plan, which allows you to pay about the same amount for your energy use every month. Business customers must take service under Tampa Electric’s General Service 200 Rate to qualify. Please reference your electric bill to verify your current rate status.

Depending on the actual maximum electricity load your facility requires, Tampa Electric assigns you to the appropriate commercial or industrial price schedule. Your price schedule appears in a box on the left-hand side of your bill.
If circumstances make it impossible to pay your electric bill by the date due, Tampa Electric will discuss the possibility of granting a payment extension. Certain guidelines apply. To request a payment arrangement, please complete the online form. Please be aware that it will take up to two days to process your request.
