Tampa Electric launches electronic magazine especially for small business – POWEReZINE

Tampa Electric, Tampa Electric's small business customers have a new online resource.
POWEReZINE, a magazine residing on Tampa Electric's web site, is a single source for local business community news, local experts' advice, and the most comprehensive list in the area of special events, workshops, seminars, business networking opportunities, and professional associations.
POWEReZINE's sections include news, events, resources, technology, people, experts' columns, and "At the Podium", which covers many of the business presentations being given in the area. Another feature of the POWEReZINE is a day-of-the-week listing of ongoing meetings in the area. For example, under Monday are meetings that occur every week on Monday, or on a Monday in the month.
The POWEReZINE will be edited by long-time Tampa journalist Dave Szymanski, manager of Corporate Communications for Tampa Electric.
POWEReZINE is one of a number of resources Tampa Electric offers small businesses. The Energy Technology Resource Center, located adjacent to USF, offers interactive demonstrations for commercial technologies, as well as seminars and workshops. Conservation programs also help businesses reduce energy usage, and include a free energy audit. In addition, the company publishes Powerful Business, a quarterly magazine mailed free to more than 28,000 small business owners, and available for download on the Tampa Electric site.
