

Q. What happens to my deposit if I use automatic bank draft, and turn off service?
A. The deposit on your account will be applied toward the final bill, which will be comprised of any balance presently owed on the account plus electric usage up to the date service is taken out of your name. Any credit will be forwarded to you in the form of a refund check. Any balance owed will be drafted from your account the next business day after your requested account closes. Tampa Electric will send you notification that the final bill has been drafted from your account after service has been discontinued.
