Q. What does the outside primary unit help protect?
A. The primary unit helps protect all large motor-driven appliances including stoves, refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, air conditioners, etc. Exception: Appliances with digital controls, such as refrigerators or washers, must have a plug-in protector. Plug-in protectors for 220-volt appliances such as ranges, stoves and dryers are not available through Zap Cap Systems®.
