Q. Is Zap Cap Systems® an insurance policy?
A. No, Zap Cap Systems® comes with a Manufacturer’s Connected Equipment Warranty. This manufacturer’s warranty applies only to protected appliances and electronics that sustain damage from a high-voltage surge that enters the home through the electric meter or through plug-in protectors. If an item fails due to a high-voltage surge entering through the electric meter, there will be damage to the primary unit and/or plug-in unit(s). If an item fails and there is no damage to the primary unit and/or plug-in protectors, this means the surge did not enter through those paths and the manufacturer’s warranty will not cover the damage. Except for the manufacturer’s warranty, no warranty is made, expressed or implied on the system.
