Q. What happens if I stop leasing Zap Cap Systems® before the two year commitment?
A. If you request to be removed from Zap Cap Systems® before the two-year commitment expires, you will not be charged an extra fee. However, if you decide to lease within the next two years, Tampa Electric will charge a $75.00 reconnect fee. The only exception is if you sell your home and relocate to another home within Tampa Electric’s service area.
