

Q. I am retired and living on a fixed income. Does Tampa Electric offer an option that lets me pay my electric bill when it works with my budget?
A. This special program was designed for customers who are 62 years of age or older, on a fixed income, and whose Social Security, retirement or disability checks may be received on a date that doesn't always coincide with the due date of their current electric bills. The 62+ Plan allows these customers to receive a second notice on a one-month bill without receiving a final notice, ensuring they remain customers in good standing.
