Tampa Electric’s Heating and Cooling program allows you to earn rebates for replacing your old, inefficient air conditioning system with a new, energy-efficient heat pump that meets our energy-saving standards. This program is available to all residential customers.
When replacing an air conditioning system, talk to your contractor about installing a qualifying unit.
Please note: Tampa Electric requires the contractor to deduct the rebate amount from the customer’s invoice. Once this is complete, the rebate will be paid directly to the contractor. If the unit is installed without a contractor (owner-installed), the homeowner must submit supporting documentation to Tampa Electric to receive the rebate.

The contractor or homeowner (if owner-installed) must download the Heating and Cooling rebate form, complete, sign and mail or fax it to Tampa Electric.
