Light Duty Commercial
The Light Duty Commercial (LDC) Surge Protection Device is designed for single-phase electrical services, limited to a maximum of 200 Amp continuous electrical loads. The LDC protector is installed between the meter and meter socket in minutes. Service and replacement requires a brief electrical outage.
Customers are encouraged to check their Zap Cap units regularly. If the diagnostic lights are not illuminated, the unit is not functioning properly and should be reported to Tampa Electric by calling 1-877-SURGE-22.

The Main Panel Surge Protection Device is installed at the main panel of your business or at the sub-panel. Any expended modules or damaged units are replaced at no cost to you.
