A Primary Unit*, installed behind or near your electric meter, leased* through Tampa Electric for $6.95, plus tax per month, and a one-time installation charge of $44.95 plus tax. The primary unit remains the property of Tampa Electric and cannot be purchased. A two year commitment is required.

Plug-in protectors designed to help protect sensitive electronic equipment. To get you started, you will receive one free multimedia plug-in protector**. Or, choose a deluxe plug-in protector** as part of your initial installation package for an additional $20 plus tax.
All electronic equipment must be connected to a plug-in protector to qualify for the manufacturer’s warranty coverage.

The Multimedia plug-in protector is compatible with all cable TV systems and includes both coaxial cable and telephone line protection. This HDTV ready protector can be used for VCR, DVD players, cable/antenna line, stereo equipment, computers, modems, answering and fax machines. $49.95, plus tax, each. |

The Deluxe Satellite plug-in protector is also HDTV ready and compatible with the most current satellite receivers. This protector is required for Digital Satellite Systems (DSS). $79.95, plus tax, each. |
