Teacher Safety

Safety is our top priority. That's why we've teamed up with local teachers in our service area to provide engaging electrical safety materials to help teach children about electricity – and more importantly – how to be safe around electricity.

Tampa Electric is funding electrical safety kits for teachers across West Central Florida. The kits provide all the content needed to teach students about never to touch downed lines, conductors & insulators, electromagnets, how to build a simple circuit and more.

Included in each kit are safety cards that teachers can use to teach students how to be safe around electricity.
