Caution: An increasing number of customers report having received a call or visit from a contractor misrepresenting themselves as an affiliate or partner with Tampa Electric. All Tampa Electric team members and contractors doing work for Tampa Electric are required to carry photo identification cards. If someone claiming to be a Tampa Electric representative visits your home or business, request to see their badge. If you are uncertain about an individual’s association with Tampa Electric, please call Tampa Electric’s Energy Management Services Department at the number that serves your area.
