In an effort to help the community use energy more wisely, Tampa Electric has contracted with Alternative Energy Applications (AEA), an independent contractor to install energy-saving items in thousands of homes across West Central Florida at absolutely no cost to homeowners.
Please note: This is a Tampa Electric outreach program. Homes are selected using U.S. Census data to identify qualified geographic regions with low-income customers.
Prior to each event, door hangers will be distributed to homes within the geographic region selected (view map ) inviting customers to call and schedule an appointment with AEA to install measures in the home. Be sure to bookmark this page to view geographic regions we will target and the date each event will occur. This map will be updated as new regions are selected.
