When the builder began shaping the look and feel of the neighborhood, they knew lighting would play a key role. They weren’t just looking for functionality. They wanted something that would reflect the community’s character. Something rustic, yet refined. Our team was ready to help bring the builder’s vision to life. Together, they designed a solution that was both practical and beautiful: a custom aluminum pole that mimics the look of real wood, paired with the Hudson fixture—a lantern-style light that’s as gentle on the eyes as it is on the night sky.
“The light is dark-sky-friendly,” said Lee Isham, lighting technician at Tampa Electric. “It doesn’t throw light into the atmosphere, so there’s less glare while still providing safe, effective illumination.”
Today, these distinctive lights line the streets and brighten the pool area at Farm at Varrea, adding both safety and charm. The lighting combination—featuring the Hudson fixture and the newly named Varrea pole—is now available to other communities and property owners who want to elevate their outdoor spaces.
