Tampa Electric has contracted with an independent contractor, Alternative Energy Applications (AEA), to install these energy-saving items at no cost to homeowners.

To get started, call AEA at 813-685-4631 to find out if your home is located within one of the geographic regions identified through U.S. Census data that qualifies as a low-income home. If you qualify, you can schedule an appointment with the AEA representative.

You may also qualify through community partnerships Tampa Electric has with Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan (THAP) and the Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa, Inc. (CDC).
