Boost Payments is a secure bill payment service that allows friends and family to contribute directly to your electric bill. When you create a Boost request, you'll receive a unique payment link that you can share with people you trust. They can make a payment directly to your electric account using a bank account, debit card or credit card, while your account information remains private.

Boost Payments allow someone else to make a payment toward your electric bill through a secure online payment link. Instead of collecting money and making the payment yourself, friends or family can contribute directly to your account.

How do Boost Payments work?

  1. Create a Boost request through Kubra EZ-Pay Payment Center.
  2. Receive a unique payment link.
  3. Share the link with friends or family.
  4. They can make a payment using a bank account, debit card or credit card.
  5. Payments are applied directly to your electric account.
  6. You'll receive a notification when a payment is made.
  7. If a remaining balance exists, you are responsible for paying it.

How to request a Boost Payment?

If you know your account number and ZIP code:

  1. Go to the Kubra EZ-Pay Payment Center
  2. Enter your account number and ZIP code and select Look Up.
  3. Select Get help with a Boost from the right navigation menu.
  4. Follow the prompts to create your request.

If you have an online account:

  1. Sign in to your online account.
  2. Select the account you want to use.
  3. Select Pay Now on your bill.
  4. Scroll down and select Pay Now with KUBRA EZ-PAY.
  5. Select Get help with a Boost from the right navigation menu.
  6. Follow the prompts to create your request.

Things to know

  • You can include a personal message with your Boost request or choose from prewritten messages.
  • Friends and family cannot view your account information.
  • Payments made through Boost are applied directly to your electric account.
  • The account holder remains responsible for any unpaid balance.
  • If someone receives your Boost request but does not make a payment, you remain responsible for the balance.
  • If a payment is returned, you remain responsible for the payment amount and any applicable returned payment fees.
