Any customer who remains without power should report their outage
Tampa Electric has nearly completed restoration to hundreds of thousands of customers who were affected by Hurricane Irma, and remains on target to restore power to essentially all customers by Sunday night.
We have restored power to more than 95 percent of customers affected by the storm, and 2.4 percent remain out. Some customers with more complex damage will take additional time to restore.
“These final days of restoration involve labor-intensive outages, including lines with severe damage,” said Gordon Gillette, president and chief executive officer of Tampa Electric. “These repairs – and in some cases, rebuilding – will take some time. Rest assured, we will not stop until all customers are restored.”
In total, 425,000 of our 750,000 customers were impacted by the storm. More than 4,000 line, tree and other personnel – from as far away as Oklahoma, Maine and Nova Scotia, Canada – continue to work around the clock to restore power quickly and safely.

- Update the phone number and email associated with your account at www.tecoaccount.com/yourprofile. This helps when you report an outage.
- Residential and commercial customers may call Tampa Electric's dedicated toll-free automated power outage phone system at 1-877-588-1010 to report a power outage or electric emergency.
