Redesigned Tampa Electric website has new look and improved customer service

Customers may notice something new the next time they visit www.tampaelectric.com. They will now find information faster and easier – thanks to a cleaner, modern look with a stronger focus on customers.

Tampa Electric and TECO Peoples Gas, along with TECO Energy, have introduced enhanced websites, making them easier to use and navigate. The company developed the sites using extensive customer feedback.

The sites have a new, modern design and provide an easy experience for customers on the go, among other enhancements designed to improve the customer experience:

  • It is easier than ever for customers to pay bills, monitor their account history and learn how to save energy to keep their bills down.
  • Customers can easily start, stop or transfer their services, report power outages and public safety concerns like downed power lines or streetlight outages.
  • The most common requests now have prominent links at the top of all pages, which makes it easier to make a payment, report an outage or to manage your account.

"Our customers have new and evolving expectations for mobility and convenience,” said Nancy Tower, president and chief executive officer of Tampa Electric. "Our improvements make the digital experience easier for customers. They can get information and complete their transactions, around the clock, with fewer clicks.”

Visit the new site at www.tampaelectric.com.
