Share a helping hand and strengthen our community
Share connects customers with financial support for their electric bill when unexpected circumstances arise.
Whether facing medical expenses, severe weather impacts, family emergencies or other changes in household circumstances, customers may be able to receive assistance through Share.
Share is funded by tax-deductible donations TECO employees and shareholders, customers and community partners. Donations go even further through a dollar-for-dollar match from Tampa Electric shareholders, up to $500,000 each year.
100% of Share donations are used to help customers maintain essential electric service and are never used for administrative or fundraising expenses.

After enrolling, it may take two to three billing cycles for your Share contribution to appear on your bill. To help with tax reporting, your January statement will include your total Share contributions from the previous year.
